Domestic use and domestic purposes are defined by Nevada Revised Statutes 534.013 and 534.180.Nevada State Engineer\u2019s Order 1293 was issued on December 19, 2017. The order prohibits the drilling of any new domestic well in the Nevada portion of the Pahrump Artesian Basin (Basin 10-162) unless water rights have been relinquished to support that well. \n\nThis dataset was created to be used as a reference tool for the general public, displaying the water right relinquishment status of parcels in Pahrump Valley, Nevada. This information was compiled based on recorded subdivision letters, county assessor data, and records of water right relinquishments at the Nevada State Engineer's office within the Nevada Division of Water Resources (NDWR).
