"description":"This feature class is updated every business day using Python scripts and the TCID databases.  Please disregard the \"Date Updated\" field as it does not keep in sync with DWR's internal enterprise geodatabase updates.  The dataset is used to track approved water right retirements. Retirements indicate water that is no longer delivered from the Truckee River and remains within the water system. The goal of water right retirements is to reduce water use throughout the Newlands Project area. Retirement refers to the AB 380 program, which was a program administered by the Carson Water Subconservancy District to purchase water rights from willing sellers and have those rights retired and abandoned. For more information on AB 380, please visit https://www.federalregister.gov/documents/2000/04/20/00-9894/state-of-nevada-assembly-bill-380-newlands-project-nv.  Representation:  Nominal acres \u2013 total approved number of acres retired  Detail acres \u2013 Number of acres in the place of use area that is a portion of the nominal acres.  The Action Date field indicates when the change took place.  Date of Creation \u2013 2015  The dataset is updated when corrections are received by the Division of Water Resources.",
