Description: Updated to include elevations 1040ft, 1220ft and 1230 ft, based on contour lines derived from the 2001 BOR bathymetry survey. Contour lines were isolated, cleaned up, slivers removed, smoothed to 100m, and finally converted to a polygon. Polygons were then appended and "re-sorted". ESRI polygon shapefile representing the shoreline of Lake Mead, Nevada and Arizona, at lake levels between 900 and 1,210 feet elevation. From 1,210 to 1,050, data is in 10 foot intervals. From 1,050 to 900, data is in 50 foot intervals for low water planning purposes. Shorelines were derived from Bureau of Reclamation bathymetric data which were created from a combination of multi-beam sonar data and USGS contour data.
