Description: This feature class shows the locations of soil, sediment, groundwater, and surface water samples for PFAS taken at Department of Defense (DoD) sites in Nevada. Three DoD site were sampled: Creech Air Force Base, Reno Air National Guard, and Nellis Air Force Base.Data was obtained from three site inspection reports. Sample point locations were obtained from georeferencing the sample location maps in the reports. Analyte result values for each sample location were provided in the results tables in the reports. Results data was imported into Excel from the report PDFs and subsequently imported into ArcGIS. The site inspection reports are listed below:Creech AFB: "Site Inspection For Aqueous Film Forming Foam (AFFF) Areas at Creech Air Force Base, Nevada", U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Tulsa District, for Air Force Civil Engineer Center. 12/6/2017.Nellis AFB: "Site Inspection For Aqueous Film Forming Foam Areas at Nellis Air Force Base, Nevada", U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Tulsa District, for Air Force Civil Engineer Center. 6/20/2017.Reno Air National Guard: "Final Site Inspection Report, Reno Air National Guard Base", 9/19/2018. Analytical results are included in two related tables: Results_Soil_Sediment and Results_Groundwater_Surface_Water. Each sample location is identified by the Location ID. For each Location ID, there are one or more samples taken at various depths (for groundwater and soil) or at the surface. Many of the analytes sampled were the same across sites, however there was some variation in the analytes sampled. Notes: J = Estimated concentrationU = Not detected at or above reporting limit NA = Not applicable FD = field duplicate
