Administered by the Nevada Division of Outdoor Recreation, the goals of the program are to improve academic achievement and personal wellness while fostering an appreciation of nature.</span>The grant aims to provide funding for educational programs, field trips and experiences that get youth outdoors. There are two types of funding opportunities, Tier II funding and Microgrants. Tier II funding is larger allocations of funds for projects whereas microgrants do not exceed $5,000.</font></span></p><p style='margin-top:0px; margin-bottom:0px; font-family:"Avenir Next W01", "Avenir Next W00", "Avenir Next", Avenir, "Helvetica Neue", sans-serif; font-size:16px;'></p><p style='margin-top:0px; margin-bottom:1.5rem; font-family:"Avenir Next W01", "Avenir Next W00", "Avenir Next", Avenir, "Helvetica Neue", sans-serif; font-size:16px;'><span style='font-family:inherit; font-size:14px;'><font color='#000000' style='font-family:inherit;'>The data within this project represents project impact locations not exact locations projects have been executed. Many of these projects affect multipe counties and therefor project execution location is inaccurate. This data layer shows a single location for each grant project awarded. Each location is either based on the grantee address or, if the project had a specified location, the project location.
