Description: The Fire Risk Index (FRI) is calculated as the Fire Threat Index (FTI) times the Fire Effects Index (FEI). It is one of the two primary outputs of the West Wide WIldfire Risk Assessment (WWA) and is a measure of wildfire risk. It combines the probability of an acre burning with the expected effects if a fire occurs. This reflects the possibility of suffering loss.
